besca.tl.sig.read_annotconfig(configfile: str)[source]¶

Reads the configuration file for signature-based hierarhical annotation.

Parameters:

configfile ('str') – path to the configuration file, tsv

Returns:

sigconfig (panda.DataFrame) – a dataframe with the config details
levsk (list of str) – String of distinct levels based on configuration file
